The staff of GCISD's Public Information Department strives to provide accurate, informative and timely communications to GCISD stakeholders and media about district issues, events, and decisions, and highlight student, staff and district achievements.

- Around the District - weekly news briefs from schools, about students and staff, events and achievements.
- GCISD @ Our BEST - light news about every day events, student and teacher profiles and other activities, presented in a feature news format.
- FastNews - the District's email newsletter, published weekly during the school year. Available by free subscription.
- Videos on Demand- available on the website, videos may be part of a series, such as "What I Learned Today," or "GCISD Spotlight," or focus on other activities and events throughout the district.
