I have been teaching for 30 years, 25 of those years in GCISD and I still love to come to school every day. I have taught in California, New Jersey and in Texas and believe that HMS is the best of the best!
 
 I have been honored to be Teacher of the Year at Heritage Elementary 1997 and Heritage Middle 2005. I currently serve as the Green Team Sponsor, Recycling Club and 7th grade Instructional leader.
 
I am the mother of 10 children,  5 girls and 5 boys, and 15 grandchildren.  So far there are 9 who have grauated from college,  1 MA degree, 2 MBA degrees, and my youngest will soon to be Junior. I also have 15 grandchildren! No retirement just yet!
