Anne Ricci, Assistant Principal
I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Upon graduation I moved to Houston, Texas where I taught in Aldine ISD for six years. In 1987 I moved to the DFW area and was a sixth grade teacher in HEB ISD for nine years. In 1993 I made the decision to return to school to work on my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Woman’s University. In 1996 I completed my master's degree and moved to GCISD and became the assistant principal at Glenhope Elementary. I was there until August 2011.
I am married to my husband David. We have three daughters between the two of us. Allison just completed her master's degree in counseling and is the counselor at Cottonwood Creek Elementary in Coppell. Carly is living in the San Fransisco area and is enjoying her graphic arts design job with Safeway grocery stores. Samantha is beginning her sophomore year at OU and loves being a member of Chi Omega. My family enjoys Friday night GHS football, watching the Dallas Cowboys play, going to the beach, and going to Disneyworld.
I am so excited to be a part of the staff and community at Cannon and being a part of the first GCISD STEM school.
