My Path to CES: I graduated from The University of Alabama, in 1993, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Environmental Sciences and completed my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership through Midwestern State University in 2003. I am grateful for the guidance provided by MSU but my heart will always belong to the Crimson Tide. Roll Tide.....Roll.....

My time in the classroom was spent as a kindergarten, first and second grade teacher in both Ft. Worth ISD and Keller ISD.  Upon completion of my graduate work, I was hired to mentor the first year teachers in Keller ISD and probably learned more than I taught!

I joined the Colleyville Elementary family in 2009, as the assistant principal, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of learning that I have experienced with our students and staff. The kids make me laugh every single day and I feel confident saying there are not many jobs out there that can make a similar claim!
Family life:  I am extremely lucky to have a very loving and supportive family.  I have been married to my husband Jack (who I met in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, don't you know?) since 1994.  We have three children, two dogs and a guinea pig.  Our oldest son, Chase is a junior at St. Edward's University in Austin (also a graduate of CHHS 2015). Our younger son, Cade, is a freshman at Grapevine High School (ut oh house divided) and our daughter, Callie, is in seventh grade at Colleyville Middle School. Having our own children attend GCISD schools has provided a comfortable balance to our life. I strongly believe in the forward movement of GCISD and love what it has brought to all three of our children.  I am very proud to say they are evidence of such a progressive and innovative school district.
The true center of the Faragher household most likely are our dogs, Bo and Murhpy.  BoSox (Boston Red Sox) is a 10 year old Weimaraner, although I am going to stop counting because I cannot stand thinking that he is a "senior". Murphy is a 1 year old Boxer. He is still all puppy and we are eagerly awaiting the day for him to take the hint from Bo and settle down, but in all fairness, he is super fun in his own crazy way.
