My name is Kelly Coke, and this year will mark my 8th year teaching Special Education at Colleyville Elementary, and my 11th year teaching Special Education! I couldn't be more excited and proud to continue my teaching career at Colleyville Elementary!
In 2000, I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. I worked at the Texas Youth Commission for 5 1/2 years as a Case Manager. After having my son in 2006, I decided to try a different avenue in working with children. So I went back to school, completed my certification in Special Education, obtained my Master's in Special Education, began teaching and never looked back! I can't think of a better job than educating our future!
I have been happily married to the love of my life, Casey, since 2002 and we have 2 beautiful children, Cameron, age 10, will start his last year in elementary (5th grade) while my daughter, Olivia, will begin her journey in Kindergarten this year! Needless to say, I'm very excited (and sad at the same time) for this year to begin! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and shopping!
