    GCISDDecisionWeek is April 17 - 21, there will be a variety of activities at GHS and CHHS to celebrate our seniors and their future plans, as well as some opportunities for Juniors to get a head start on their senior year.

  • February is National Career and Technical Education Month

    GCISD offers many Career and Technical Programs, where students can gain knowledge and certifications in career fields that they are interested in. CTE courses provide real-world learning experiences that translate into practical knowledge required for college and careers.   • GCISD Students Participate in CNA Bootcamp

    Students from the Health Science Certified Nursing Assistant course went to Coppell High School to participate in a practical training to prepare for their upcoming CNA Certification exam. Students practiced their skills with Coppell High School students in the same program.

  • Grapevine Police Department assists Law Enforcement Classes with Defensive Tactics

    Sergeant Jason Keller of the Grapevine Police Department was on campus this week, working with students and teaching them about use of force continuum, standards for law enforcement, handcuffing techniques, and basic defensive tactics. Students got to utilize training equipment to practice their new knowledge in the classroom through practical application.

The GCISD Technology Education and Career Center is a facility dedicated to Career and Technical Education and serves students in GCISD from Grapevine High School as well as Colleyville Heritage High School.  The TECC also contains a Go Center for students to research colleges and careers with the help of parent volunteers, and a Coffee Cafe which is run by GCISD's Nutrition Services.

  • STAAR / STAAR EOC Results Update

    All STAAR results from the spring 2017 administration will be released throughout the summer to parents using the Texas Education Agency Student Data Online Portal. The portal will open on June 2 for STAAR End of Course Exams (EOCs) and then June 14 for all remaining exams. STAAR 5th/8th Grade (Math and Reading) exams have already been released and are available online. Learn more...
