About me:  I grew up in Grand Prairie graduating from GPHS where I was a three sport letterman, # 7 in my class and voted most talented in my senior class. I moved on to attend college on a softball scholarship first at Oklahoma Christian University and then at Stephen F. Austin State University where I was a three year starter. During my college summers, I taught ESL classes  and worked in various academic and sports related summer camps. I began my teaching/coaching career at South Grand Prairie High, my arch enemy. In my first season as an assistant our softball team made the state tournament. After two years at SGP, I became the head girls softball coach at Haltom High and continued to teach my favorite subject, English. In 2001, I moved to Haltom High School as the head softball coach and taught English II, III, and IV. In 2012, I came to Colleyville Heritage to both coach softball and teach English. In 2016, I became the girl's athletics coordinator.  I  have 17+ years in teaching and coaching and can't imagine doing anything else!
My interests: I love spending time with my family especially my kids who keep me busy. I love good books, great movies and new experiences, especially traveling. I also love anything sports related!
My values: I am passionate about learning, believe in being fair, hope for the best in people, compete fiercely and laugh often.
