My name is Tori Yates, and I will be in the Special Education RISE classroom. I have been part of the wolfpack at CTMS for the past two years as a paraprofessional, and this will be my 3rd year with GCISD and Cross Timbers. I completed my Associate of Arts degree at Tarrant County College in 2005, and I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009. I am currently pursuing my alternative teaching certification through Texas Teachers. My passion for teaching has been a part of my soul for as long as I can remember. I took many different paths before traveling down the one that led to this amazing adventure at CTMS.
My belief is that every child deserves to receive the best education possible. Being placed in the least restrictive environment, gaining necessary life skills and learning how to relate and communicate with people from different backgrounds is imperative to the academic growth and success of any student. I look forward to a fantastic year with the Wolfpack!
