    CTMS Bilingual Counselor
    Alphabet A-K

My name is Moises Flores, the bilingual counselor for CTMS. This will be my second year as a counselor for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. Last year I served as an Elementary Counselor at Timberline Elementary where I worked with wonderful staff members and students. I am excited to start at CTMS where I will continue to help students be the best they can both academically and socially.  I began my educational career as a P.E. Paraprofessional while working on my History degree with a minor in Spanish at UT Arlington.  I was hired by Irving ISD as a Dual Language Pre-AP World Geography/Latin American Studies/Juvenile Justice teacher, while working on my School Counseling Master's degree at Lamar University.. During my time at MacArthur High School I received the honor of being elected Social Studies Teacher of the Year, sponsored National Honors Society, Dual Language Club, and the Multicultural Club.  My philosophy of school counseling is based on my ability to build relationships with all students, having the enthusiasm to help students, advocating for students' success, and collaborating with parents, the community and other school professionals.
