It is a privilege to be a part of such a committed and caring team here at Cross Timbers. As an Assistant Teacher for Special Education, my job is to help tailor students’ learning experience to their specific strengths and needs and make sure each student feels respected and supported.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, in Evanston Illinois (Go Wildcats!!!), with an emphasis in Educational Psychology and I just recently passed the Texas State Certification Exam for Special Education- Early Childhood through 12th grade. Caring for the needs of children and families has always been a priority for me which is why I spent many years working as a Funding Developer for a large Social Service Agency in New York City. My teaching experience includes two years as a Science teacher at Winfree Academy High School in Grapevine, several years working as a substitute teacher for GCISD and this is my second year as an assistant teacher here at CTMS.
I want to take this opportunity to welcome any new members to the Wolf Pack and to thank the parents and other important adults in the lives of our students for all that you do to support your children. I would welcome hearing from you, so please feel free to email me at email@example.com.
