  Mrs. Parker's Math Page.

I would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of mathematics.  The purpose of the PAP math curriculum is to get students prepared for college level math and eventually a career based in mathematics.  Studies show that students required to take Calculus at the college level for their intended careers will earn more money upon graduation from college than their peers in other disciplines.  The PAP curriculum is designed to go above and beyond the level of difficulty experienced in an on-level math course.  This rigor will better prepare the student for upper level math courses.  The AP program at Grapevine High School culminates with the student taking either the AP Calculus exam or the AP Statistics exam or both!
On a personal note, I have been married for many years (to the same person) and we have three wonderful children.  I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and later my Master's degree from the University of North Texas.  While completing my degree at UNT, I finished the coursework necessary for Gifted/Talented certification.
Information about homework assignments, upcoming tests and quizzes can be found on the information page for each class.
