    About Me:
I grew up in Needham, Massachusetts, before moving to Hollywood, Florida. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Education and obtained my Master's Degree from the University of Georgia. I have called Grapevine home since 1999, and have been employed with GCISD for the last 18 years. I worked as a substitute for  7 years, spent 4 years at VISTA (the discipline alternative school) and have been at GHS for the last 7 years. I am the special education science teacher. My primary responsibility is inclusion support in the general education classroom, and I  also teach a resource biology class. In addition, I serve as a case manager, coordinating  "my kids" four year plans, and helping them in developing post-secondary college and career plans. One of the best parts of my job is the opportunity to build relationships with students through out their high school career. I love to watch the students grow and from tentative freshmen to young men and women.
My husband, Stuart and I celebrated our 30th anniversary this year. We have 2 adult children, Jared and Shelby, who live in the metroplex, and a mischievous mutt named Franklin.
