Nurse Update:

For Kindergarten Round-up in order for your student to be enrolled that day.,

He or She must have had their 4 year old vaccinations which include, DPT, Polio, MMRs, and this year will include having to have 2 Hep A vaccinations, and 2 Chickenpox (varicella) vaccinations.

All students should have had 3 Hep B's that show on their records.

There will be immunization clinics at Cannon Elementary on May 19th and you can always get them at the Tarrant County Immunization Clinic on Brown Trail.

For those 5th graders that turn 11 next year, they will need an TDap booster, Menactra and 2nd varicella for their 7th grade year. Getting these immunizations their 5th grade year and giving the paperwork to us will decrease their stress when the deadline comes going into the 7th grade. They will not give these until they turn 11. Please contact the nurses office with any questions.
