Welcome to the music page of Ms. McAdoo from Colleyville Elementary in Grapevine Colleyville ISD.

On this website you will find information about CES Honor Choir, the programs for the year, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills in Elementary Music, interesting music websites to check out about instruments, and more.

In music class at CES the children have fun participating in singing, playing instruments such as the recorder and xylophones and other percussion instruments, playing singing games, dances, multicultural songs, and hand games and learning music theory and about famous composers.
We do a wide variety of songs and games at different levels of difficulty to be able to reach all students.      Music is a team effort - we learn to follow a director and perform together singing in unison, rounds or two parts.    We are fortunate enough at CES to have a lot of percussion instruments which the children enjoy playing.     We learn about instruments of the orchestra and welcome community performers into the music room during the months of January and February to play for the students - please contact Ms. McAdoo if you can share your talent.
Thank you for sharing your musical gifts.

HEY KIDS!!!    I hope you'll check out the FUN MUSIC LINKS tab for websites with some fun music games and music information.

I look forward to making music with YOU this yearmusic.
