Grapevine Elementary hosted our first Breakout EDU Family Night on Wednesday, April 26th at 6:30pm. Breakout EDU is an immersive game platform for learners of all ages. In Breakout EDU games, players work collaboratively to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles in order to open a locked box. There were two different grade level groups available, one for K-2 students and one for 3-5 students. This event was designed for our students and their parents to work together with a group of other students and parents to solve the puzzles and unlock the boxes in less than 45 minutes. K-2 groups worked on “If You Take a Mouse to School” and 3-5 groups worked on “Oh The Places You’ll Go”. All of our groups were able to break out with minutes left to spare! We had 30 students attend this event with their parents. A great time was had by all!
