Welcome to Ms. Howard's Page
Education: I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington in the college of Communications. I recently completed my Master's in Administration at Lamar University.
Experience: For the last eleven years, three of which were with Irving ISD, I have been privileged to hold the position of a resource/inclusion teacher. GCISD has been my home for the last eight wonderful and fulfilling years. Additionally, my certification allows me to specialize in Kindergarten-4th grade, ESL and Special Education. I'm currently working as a Learning Liaison at Grapevine Elementary. My role as the liaison is to support the work of the principal in improving instruction in every classroom, through coaching, consulting, collaborating, and co-teaching with teachers as well as to align professional learning with district and school goals.
Hobbies and Interests: In my free time I enjoy reading, working out, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I recently traveled to Lusaka, Zambia to work with teachers and special needs students. It was an amazing experience and hope to continue traveling and helping those in need during the summer months.
