  • Leader in Me Symposium Day

Our school opened its doors to visitors from our district, around the state and from around the world! They came to see the amazing things happening at Timberline as we shine our light as a Leader in Me Lighthouse school. One of the unique things that sets Timberline apart is that the adults do not take the visitors on tours, our student Tigers do! They discuss our Data Boards, answer questions about our school and demonstrate the ways we lead and learn at Timberline. Check out our Timberline Facebook page here and follow us on Twitter here to see pictures from the Symposium but also to see the incredible things going on at our school every day!

  • Art Showcase Night - January 18, 2018

Timberline Elementary and its Cultural Artistic Leadership Academy led by Mrs. Camille M. Hernandez hosted the annual Art Showcase on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

The Showcase featured artistic and cultural presentations from Panama and Puerto Rico (Mrs. Hernandez birthplace) and as a special guest, renowned Puertorrican artist, Noin Rivera, delighted everyone painting live to the rhythm of Puertorrican music. Student leaders led guests on tours of artwork displayed from all students in K-5th. Students also led interactive technology stations, art stations and a museum information table. This unique event brought art and culture together not only for Timberline families but for all of our GCISD community as well.

Save the date for our next Art Showcase, Thursday, January 24th 2019 at Timberline!
