Kinder/Kinder
We are putting into practice all our previous knowledge in Art by creating some incredible artwork designs using our lines, shapes, colors and more!
First/Primero
We are practicing and learning about the principles of design, its definition and examples for each. We created a booklet were we practiced examples for each principle out of our own artistic inspiration.

Talented Tigers Art Club
The Art Club is for students in grades 3rd-5th. For more information please contact Mrs. Hernandez in the Art Studio at x3970.
Art Club dates:
* February 11 & 25
* March 4 & 18
* April 15 & 29
* May 6 & 20
All meetings take place in the Art Studio (D110) from 3:00-4:15pm. Life happens so if there is any last minute changes I will either sent a note home with the new date OR communicate through the speaker before the end of the day.

GCISD Menu Art Contest
Topic: What healthy eating looks like
How: Lots of creative interpretations of healthy eating, pictures must be drawn, colored or painted on paper or similar medium with a maximum size of 4x6 inches.
What's next? The artwork that is selected will be printed inside our calendar menus next school year with the student's name and school. A parent consent form must be on file with the district in order for the student to participate.
Where to? Bring entries to Mrs. Hernández classroom by or before May 14th.
