Target Evening Education Rules
Attendance:
Classes are held Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday on the campus of Bridges Accelerated Learning Center; 5800 Colleyville Blvd., Suite C307; Colleyville, TX. Class meets for a maximum of 4 hours each evening. Students attending TARGET Evening Education classes will comply with the following attendance policy.During the session, students will be allowed ONE absence. Three tardies equal one absence. Students arriving 20 minutes late or leaving 20 minutes early will be counted absent. The second absence will result in the student being dropped immediately from the course causing loss of credit and tuition. TARGET Evening Education maintains strict attendance records and follows the GCISD Student Calendar for holidays and school closings.
Class Times:
Classes begin promptly at 4:30 P.M. and will end at 7:30 P.M. However, the ending time will vary with each student. The teachers work with students in such a way that students are allowed and encouraged to complete their assignments at an accelerated pace. Students are allowed to leave after they have successfully completed the day’s assignments. Students MUST leave the campus upon dismissal. Students who are consistently picked up late (30 minutes after dismissal) will be dropped from the program with no refund.
Orientation:
For each session, a MANDATORY ORIENTATION is included the first day of class. Class starts at 4:30 and ends at 7:30pm.
Prior to Registration:
If applicable, a copy of the ARD’s “modification sheet” must accompany the registration form.
Registration:
Regular session registration is from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday-Thursday and from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. on Friday. The cost is $200 per class for Grapevine-Colleyville students and $250 per class for students from other districts. A $20 nonrefundable registration fee will be charged per student, per session. A late fee of $15 will be assessed for registering or paying after the registration period.
Payments:
Cash, checks, money orders, Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted at the office of Target Evening Education (5800 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034. No over-the-phone registrations or payments will be accepted.
Refunds:
To receive an 80% refund, students must officially withdraw prior to the second class meeting. A 100% refund will only be given if a class is canceled by Target Evening Education.
