LEAD 2021 Highlights

  • Since LEAD 2021 was first developed, the district has made a number of new developments to enhance the GCISD experience for all students and staff.

    • Expanded use of technology in the classroom from six digital classrooms to a 1:1 initiative for kindergarten through ninth-grade students.

    • Transitioned from a teaching to a learning platform
    • Flexible furniture in classrooms, and more to come through the 2016 bond program
    • Created iUniversity Prep: An Online Virtual School
    • Created Collegiate Academy at Tarrant County College Northeast

    • Two-way dual language available at elementary and middle school
