LEAD 2021 strategic plan approved by Board

The GCISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the LEAD 2021 Strategic Plan as the District’s new long-range planning structure. LEAD 2021 (Leading Excellence-Action Driven) incorporates strategic objectives, strategies and specific results designed to plan the future of the District for the next 10 years. The current Long Range Plan was adopted in 2006 and expires in May 2011. For the past five years, GCISD has been working toward six Long Range Goals and has. made significant progress toward each of the goals.

"We believe in planning with a purpose," said Superintendent Dr. Robin Ryan. "As we come to the end of our District’s Long Range Plan in May 2011, we are looking into the future and planning our next course of action. The strategies and objectives in LEAD 2021 will provide the structure to plan the future of our school district for the next 10 years."
