I was born and raised in Meeker, a small ranching community in northwestern Colorado. I graduated  from Tarleton State University with a BS in Biology and a minor in Earth Science.  The 2012-2013 school year begins my 20th year in education, and my 13th year at HMS. 
 
 
I live in Grapevine and I have two children - my son is a freshman at UTA majoring in electrical engineering and my daughter is a sophomore at CHHS. I'm an outdoor girl and I love to hike, four-wheel, camp, and fish.  My favorite hobby is gardening.  I am a recycling nut and even prepare my own compost for my flower beds and vegetable garden!  I also love to read, scrapbook, cook and travel.
