KidzU, Extended Care Programs / KidzU Summer 2013

This summer KidzU will be taking a journey along the historic Route 66! Our road trip will take us through various cities and states and our young travelers will be participating in fun activities and projects centered on the different cultures, people, cities and states that make Route 66 famous! Children who will be entering 1st grade through 7th grade in the 2013-2014 school year will have the opportunity to engage in fun and educational activities. Each week there are planned guest speakers and/or field trips that the children will be able to participate in with parent approval. June10-14 Camp Rate (5 days) $155 June 17-21 Camp Rate (4 days) $133 June 24-28 Daily Rate $40 July 1-5 July 8-12 Registration Fee $25 July 15-19 July 22-26 July 29-August 2 August 5-9 August 12-16 August 19-23 The (4 day) Camp Rate is only available during the week of July 1-5. KidzU will be closed on July 4. For your convenience when planning activities for your child’s summer, the Summer Planning Form is available. This form is not an enrollment form and will not be accepted as an enrollment form. All summer registrations must be entered online using your child’s student ID. Extended Care Summer Enrichment & Summer Academy In conjunction with the GCISD’s Summer Enrichment Program, KidzU will provide part time extended care allowing children in the district to participate in Summer Enrichment and Summer Academy. Your KidzU Camp registration is waived when a registration fee is already paid for these summer programs. During the weeks these programs are in session, the part time options are Early, Late, and AM Wrap or PM Wrap Care. Early Care provides care for students enrolled in an AM Enrichment class. Late Care is available when the student attends a PM Enrichment class. AM Wrap and PM Wrap Care are ONLY available when enrolling in one Summer Enrichment class or Summer Academy and care is needed for the remainder of the day. AM/PM Wrap Care includes all KidzU activities offered during the enrolled Wrap Care session. Transportation will be provided to and from the KidzU Summer Camp at Cross Timbers Middle School to the Summer Academy at Cannon Elementary School. Enrollment in the Summer Academy is by Teacher Referral Only.
