  • It is important to integrate community services with special education to offer families of children with special needs a more well-rounded approach to helping their child.  Accessing community services can equip parents through:

    •     Education and workshops
    •     Understanding and access to state programs and services
    •     Social activities designed specifically for kids with special needs
    •     Connecting with others who face similar challenges
    •   Preparing your child for life outside of the world of education
