  • PSAT Test Registration

    Grapevine High School will administer the PSAT test on October 14th at 8:35am. GCISD pays for all sophomore students to take the PSAT test and we encourage any interested freshmen or junior students to sign up at a cost of $15. Registration will open September 10th and close September 25th. Please fill out the online form and bring your $15 payment for the test to Tanya Wallace in the counseling office. We will start collecting payment on September 15th and it is due by the September 25th to guarantee a spot. If you have questions, please contact Associate Principal Steffany Batik.

  • Picture Retakes
    Underclass and Senior picture retake day is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14 in the Auditorium Foyer during all lunches. If you did not get your photo taken or are not satisfied with your image, please plan to attend. Remember, to be included in the yearbook all seniors MUST get their photo taken by Lifetouch.
    ATTENTION: October 14 is our PSAT day, but everyone does have a scheduled lunch, so please be aware of the altered schedule for the day.

    To help celebrate your senior's high school graduation and accomplishments, the 2016 Mustang Yearbook staff invites you to purchase a senior tribute for inclusion in this year's book. Senior tributes are a long-standing tradition at GHS and are a great way to wish your senior luck as he or she heads off to their next step in life.

    The deadline for 2016 Senior Tributes is Friday, Nov. 6.

  • Lunch Schedules
    Students, look at your schedule on Skyward and see who your 3rd and 7th period teachers are.  Then, look at this Lunch Schedule for those teachers' last names.  That will show you which lunch you have, either A, B, C, or D lunch.

  • Verification of Enrollment Driver's License Form
    To request a form, students should sign in at the front office.   Include student name & grade level. 
    Completed forms can be picked up at the GHS front office the following day.

  • Lone Star Cup
    GHS finishes 3rd in state Lone Star Cup
    LoneStarCup This summer, Grapevine High School finished third in the 5A UIL Lone Star Cup, which honors the best overall extra-curricular and academic programs in Texas. This was made possible by state champions in mathematics, wrestling, team tennis, tennis doubles, track and field events and top five finishes at state in gymnastics and girls’ soccer.
    Standings include: State and Area Marching Band, Team Tennis, Cross Country, Volleyball, Football, Swimming & Diving, Wrestling, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Soccer, Golf, Track & Field, Academics, One Act Play, Softball, and Baseball
    Standings for the UIL Lone Star Cup are compiled via a year-long accumulation of points based on team success at the district and state level in the UIL activities listed above.

  • GHS football players visit the Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation in Dallas
    Grapevine High School football players visited the Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation in Dallas to learn about the impacts of traumatic brain injuries.  Visit the following link to read about the football players' field trip and what they learned:

  • Oral Interp Success
    This past week, 5 members of the interp team proved that good things come in small packages.  With only 5 members, the team placed in the top 20 in the nation, receiving a speech school of excellence trophy (Over 400 schools eligible).  This is the second year in a row that Grapevine Interp has received this award.  Also, congrats to Jane Boyd on being inducted into the NSDA hall of fame.  Overall a great week.  Individual awards below.
