General Information

Tax Statements
Tax statements are mailed in October either to the homeowner or the mortgage company. You have until January 31 to pay without penalty and interest. If you do not make your full payment by January 31, you will be charged penalty and interest starting February 1. Penalty begins at 6 percent and increases monthly to a maximum of 12 percent in July. Interest accrues at 1 percent per month until the taxes are paid in full. On July 1, any account that remains unpaid will incur an additional collection fee equal to 20 percent for the total taxes, penalty and interest due.

If you have not received your tax statement by November 1, please call the Tax Office at 817-481-1242.
