Students can qualify for state-based Pre-K if they meet one of the following criteria:
1. Their home language is something other than English.
2. They are currently, or have been, in foster care.
3. The family meets income criteria.
4. Parents serve in the military.

The Tuition Base Pre-K window for Lottery Applications for 2018-2019 will be open February 9, 2018 through March 9, 2018.
The Tuition Based Pre-K Lottery will take place on March 29, 2018 for the 2018-2019 school year.
If you would like to learn more about the GCISD Tuition Based Pre-K Program be sure to come to the GCISD Personalize Program Expo on February 8th at Cross Timbers Middle School from 5 pm - 7 pm, come and go. Pre-K staff will be on-site to answer any questions about the program.
In addition to the state-funded Pre-K, we also offer a tuition-based Pre-K program for students who do not qualify for state-funded Pre-K and are in the GCISD zoned. Tuition programs are offered in the following elementary schools: Bear Creek, Bransford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Heritage, O.C. Taylor, Silverlake and Timberline.
