• A Resume:

A resume is a brief written account of personal, educational, and professional qualifications and experience, as that prepared by an applicant; a descriptive summary of you.

At some point, whether it be for a college application or for a job, a resume may be required. Through The Resume Workbook you will go through the easy Ten Steps to a Great Resume and produce your very own resume.

Creating an impressive resume will require concentration and time.  Generally speaking, you should include information beginning with the 9th grade. If you are currently in NHS, you would have all this recorded already and you would only need to update with more recent activity. Consider including activities like but not limited to:

    • Student Activities

    • Leadership Position

    • Community Related Service Activities

    • Volunteer Services

    • All work experience

If you are interested in more information please come by the Go Center. We are certain this method will facilitate the completion of your resume. We also can share some completed samples with you when you come by.

If you have a senior release or are enrolled in a dual credit class, we encourage you to take advantage of working on this during your senior release or on Fridays when your class does not meet. If you would like assistance with initiating the process for your resume please make an appointment and we will be glad to help you with this process.
