I moved to the DFW area in the summer of 2015 from Florence, Alabama as a result of my wife's job being moved to Grand Prairie. I attended Auburn University, the University of South Alabama, and the University of North Alabama. I have taught for 14 years in Alabama in science, language arts, social studies, and G&T in elementary and middle school. This is my 2nd year at BCES. My wife and I are in the "empty nest" stage of life since our two children are grown and out of the house. My son, Taylor, is married and is a 4th (and final!) year dental school student at the University of Alabama Birmingham. My daughter, Abby, graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in May with a degree in Interior Design and is currently working at a design firm in Dallas. She has just moved to Dallas after her recent marriage in October. My wife and I love living in Texas!
