Welcome to Coach Egan's website

My name is Brian Egan. I teach 12th grade English at Grapevine High School. I also coach defensive line in football and discus in track. Teaching and coaching is my passion, and I have been recognized by my students with being thrice selected to Who's Who among America's Teachers. I prepared for teaching by attending Central State University (now The University of Central Oklahoma) in Edmond, Oklahoma. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education. This will be my 30th year in teaching. I have spent all 30 of those years teaching English in preparation for this job. My wife Carrie and I have two children, Caitlin,20, and Conor, 16. I enjoy many interests and hobbies including raising my children with my lovely wife, working out and walking, listening to music, playing the harmonica, reading, writing, drawing, and painting. This is my 11th year to teach in Grapevine and I am excited about the upcoming year and hope you are as well!
