Students and staff at Timberline Elementary follow the 7 habits of highly effective people. These habits are: be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand then to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw. Timberline is a Leader in Me Lighthouse School with the Franklin Covey Company and has received national recognition and hosted visitors from across the United States. At Timberline, students see themselves as leaders and practice the 7 habits throughout their school day. Additionally, teachers incorporate the 7 habits into their curriculum, and parents learn the 7 habits at a yearly parent class series. For more information about Timberline Elementary, click here.
