Revised TEKS and required comprehension strategies (often referred to as Figure 19) are available for each grade level. Beginning with the 2009-2010 school year, these revised TEKS will be implemented and should replace previous student expectations. While the formats of these documents have been slightly modified to be more user-friendly, the information is taken directly from the revised TEKS published by the Texas Education Agency.
