About Me:

I am a Grapevine High School graduate and feel so blessed to be back home! I attended Texas A&M University and graduated with honors with a B.A. in English and a minor in Business Administration. After two years in the business world as a training consultant, I realized my heart was not in the "rat race," and I found myself drawn to the teaching profession. I taught on-level and honors English II at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson for four years. I've been a Mustang since the 2007-2008 school year, and I adore it! In my time at GHS, I have taught on-level and Pre-AP English II, World Studies, Pre-AP English III, and AP English IV. This year marks my tenth year as a teacher - I can't wait to see what wonderful things it brings!

My husband Jeremy and I have a son, Luke, a daughter, Kate, and a terrier mix named Hannah. They're pictured below.
