  • Debate Team

    Congratulations to the debate team for their performance at the Texas Forensic Association state speech and debate tournament. Aleena Jamal was named 10th speaker in the Public Forum debate division. For the first time in school history, the team of Marina Leventis and Miranda Nutt won a state championship in Public Forum debate. They are pictured here with their championship trophies.

  • CHHS Boys Track & Field

    At the L.D. Bell Hoot Smith Relays on March 9th, the Boys Track and Field Team competed against some of the most high caliber teams in the area and took several of the top medals at the meet.

    Varsity Boy medalists:

    - Ke'von Ahmad - 1st place 100M
    - Mario Ortiz - 3rd place 100M
    - Julian Ponce - 2nd place 200M

  • CHHS Girls Track & Field

    The girl's track and field team competed at the Hoot Smith Relays on Thursday. Both the Varsity and JV teams finished third overall, and the following girls placed in the top-3 of their events:

    Cameron Blaies -- High Jump, 2nd

  • Spring STAAR Testing Information

    Please mark your calendars for the spring STAAR testing dates. Students are required to pass the following EOC exams in order to graduate. More information will be coming closer to the testing dates.

    March 28 - English I
    March 30 - English II
    May 2nd - Algebra
    May 3rd - US History & Biology

  • Arena Scheduling

    The CHHS master schedule will be available to view beginning at 4:00pm Friday, March 24th.  This will allow students to organize their thinking as to how they will select their classes for the 2017-18 school year.
     
    Arena Scheduling will be available at approximately 7:30am on Monday, March 27th for current juniors ONLY.  Access to the master schedule will be shut off for all other grade levels during this time. Here is the link to view when all other grade levels can input their courses:

    Staff will be on campus as juniors begin to enter in courses; however, please hold off on contacting the campus until 8:00amif you have any questions.
