We are proud to announce that 9 of our Panther Choir Students have advanced to the final round of All-State Choir Auditions. We are thrilled to have secured 9 of these 40 spots for CHHS students (and we believe this is a school record). • Debate Team-International Public Policy Forum's Top 64 Teams

The Brewer Foundation and New York University are proud to announce the “Top 64” teams for the 15th annual International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) - the only contest that gives high school students around the world the opportunity to engage in written and oral debates on issues of public policy.

The IPPF would like to thank all of its student competitors for taking part in this year’s competition. This was one of the largest and most competitive opening rounds in the history of the IPPF, with participation from schools in more than 30 countries.

The Colleyville Heritage team of Miranda Nutt, Alina Shivji, Alena Rajwani, Marina Leventis, and Aleena Jamal are in the top 64. They will be exchanging papers with the Mt. Pisgah Christian School in Johns Creek, GA in the first round. The team will be on the affirmative debating the topic: “Resolved: Genetically modified organisms are essential to global food security."

Congratulate these young people when you see them!

  • State Cross Country 11.9.2015

David Strome ended up third place overall at the 6A 2015 Texas State Meet. The conditions at Old Settlers Park were a wet, sloppy, loose muddy terrain. With 800 meters remaining, David took the lead of the race with a twenty meter gap. He slipped twice, almost falling, losing all his momentum, which allowed two kids from The Woodlands to catch back up to him.

We are all proud of his efforts for this season and his performance Saturday. He agreed that if the course was like this last year, he would not have been in the top ten - so, his efforts Saturday were quite valiant. Go Panthers!
