    Congratulations to the Colleyville Heritage Premier Panteras on their success at the Frisco Liberty Marching Auxiliaries Contest this past weekend.

    Awarded Super Sweepstakes, Outstanding Choreography, 
    Outstanding Dance Technique and High Point for all four dances. The Panteras were awarded Best In Class in the Large Division and OVERALL GRAND CHAMPIONS, the highest scoring team of the entire contest!!

    The Dance officers were awarded Super Sweepstakes, Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Dance Technique for all 3 dances. They were named Best In Class Officers in the Large Division and 2nd Place Officer Line in the whole contest!

    Haley Hollingsworth – 1st Runner Up in the Senior 15-16 Division
    Clara Mask - 3rd Runner Up in the Senior 15-16 Division
    Christina Lam - 4th Runner Up in the Senior 15-16 Division

  • CHHS Track

    The Boys Track team placed 2nd in the highly competitive Dallas Lincoln meet on Saturday, Feb. 24th. This was the first meet of the season, and field events were not held. 

    Varsity Boy medalists:
    - Jack Wang - 2nd place 110M High Hurdles, 3rd place 300M High Hurdles
    - Jacob Muckey, Trey Flint, Brendan Carter, Jack Wang - 2nd place 4x400M relay
    - Trey Clower - 2nd place 1600M, 2nd place 3200M
    - Matthew Bayles - 3rd place 3200M

    The Girls Track team also ran competitively at the meet.

    Varsity Girl medalists:
    - Deborah Hethcock - 2nd place 3200M, 3rd place 1600M
    - Claire Compher, Gretchen Pfeiffer, Ellen Beard, Jordan Peterson - 2nd place 4x800M relay
    - Sophie Leathers - 2nd place 1600M

  • Debate

    Congratulations to the debate team for their performances the past two weekends. Over the Presidents' Day weekend, the team competed in the University of California Berkeley high school debate tournament. Finishing with a 4-2 record and just missing the triple octafinals with a 67th seed placing was the Public Forum team of Will Watson and Raheena Ali. In Lincoln Douglas debate, all three competitors finished with a 4-2 record. Junior Celine Wei just missed being in the triple octafinals (69th out of 255 competitors). Finishing in the top 64 competitors was junior Sarah Manjee. Senior Arsh Ladhani placed in the top 32 competitors in Lincoln Douglas.

    This past weekend, the team competed in the North Texas Longhorn NSDA district tournament. The top two finishers in each event qualify for the National Speech and Debate Association national tournament that will be held in Ft. Lauderdale in June. The following students qualified for that tournament:
    Will Watson and Raheena Ali, Public Forum Debate
    Joanna Wang & Anisha Navendra, Public Forum Debate
    Arsh Ladhani, Lincoln Douglas Debate
    Celine Wei, Lincoln Douglas Debate

    This is the 4th year in a row that CHHS has qualified at least one PF debate team and Lincoln Douglas competitor to the national tournament. This is a great accomplishment by the team. Please congratulate them when you see them.

  • DECA State Leadership Conference Results

    Over 4,200 DECA members from all across Texas competed at the Texas DECA State Career Development Conference in Dallas on February 23, 2018. Members competed in various events from one of the four career clusters: Marketing; Hospitality & Tourism; Business Management & Administration; and Finance. The following members represented Colleyville Heritage DECA: 

    Aly Moosa - Marketing Communication Series
    Eboni Moore - Professional Selling
    Promise Robinson - Apparel and Accessories Marketing Series
    Raphael Hildbrand and Axel Salonen - Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making
    Kevin Shaik - Personal Financial Literacy
    Jacqueline Widener - Retail Merchandising Series
    Madison Young - Restaurant and Food Service Management Series

    Jacqueline Weidner, a first time DECA member and competitor, earned State Runner-Up in the Retail Merchandising Series Event. Raphael Hildbrand and Axel Salonen, also first time DECA members and competitors, are State Champions in the Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making Event. Raphael and Axel advanced to Nationals and will compete at the DECA International Career and Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in April.

  • CHHS Visual Art Students

    CHHS Visual Art students participated in the Region 11W Visual Arts Scholastic Event on February 17th. This year, CHHS took a total of 66 artworks to the Regional event. Out of these, 53 received the highest rating.

    Special Congratulations to our 2018 CHHS State Qualifiers: Elizabeth Hoff, Isabella Hurtado, Skyler Lepschy, Jayla Momon, Alexandra Popke, Katelyn Scheimann, and Sarah Tu.

  • Panther Golf

    Second semester play was an a amazing start for both Varsity Ladies at Horseshoe Bay/Delaware Springs as well as for JV Ladies and JV Men at Hidden Springs! Be sure to congratulate your Panther Golfers on these accomplishments and good luck to Men’s Varsity in Lubbock this weekend!

    The Varsity Ladies played Horseshoe Bay last Friday and Delaware Springs Saturday- WINNING 3rd Place, with Jessica Aguirre shooting her best score ever of 2 under par! She was the 3rd Place Medalist.

    Hidden Creek JV golf tournament this week at a very windy and wet day that proved to be ideal for the Ladies who took 1st Place and the Men who took 2nd Place, with Kameryn Petters taking 3rd Place Medalist!

    Have you submitted your college applications yet? The Go Center is available for appointments to assist you with your college process or answer any questions you might have. We are available before and after school, during lunch and during your senior releases. In addition, scholarship opportunities are being updated in the GCISD website and will also be posted on the Go Center Scholarship wall.

    CHHS PTSA is excited to bring Project Graduation to the class of 2018!

    Project Graduation is a program designed to keep our seniors off the roads on graduation night in a safe, overnight lock-in event which is alcohol and drug free.

    We need your help! We need your ideas, your time, your services and your skills. We need to raise approximately $25,000 to provide our kids with a memorable event that is at no cost to them.

    Please help us start a new CHHS tradition for our kids! We can provide them with a safe, fun and memorable celebration with your help!

  • Scotland Exchange Program

    There is a student exchange between Grapevine/Colleyville and their Sister City – West Lothian, Scotland.

    Students will be coming from Scotland in October, 2018 and need host families.
    Students will travel from here to Scotland in June of 2019.

  • Adopt a School-BCHS


    CHHS is excited to adopt Bridge City High School in Bridge City, Texas. This school is currently closed due to the damage created from Hurricane Harvey.

    We are excited to announce that we were able to donate $14,824.75 to Bridge City High School!

    Thank you to everyone that helped us surpass our goal and send HOPE to BCHS!
