Parent and Community Programs

The Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition works to ensure that all students have the internal strenghts and external supports they need and that adults in their lives are equipped to effectively guide and support them. Members of the coalition include faculty, staff, police officers, students, parents, business and community leaders. Our purpose is to raise awareness of substance abuse issues by providing and supporting educational and informational programs such as:

• DARE - Drug Abuse Resistance Education
• Shattered Dreams - Drunk Driving Prevention Program
• Drug and Violence Prevention Resource Library
• Adult/Student Mentor Program
• SADD - Students Against Destructive Decisions
• DAVE - Drug and Violence Education
• Project Graduation
• Extra Curricular Alcohol and Drug Pledge
• Peer Mediation
