Education:      Masters of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies - UT at Arlington
                             B.A. - Arizona State University

I have been teaching at Colleyville Heritage High School since 2002. I teach French 1 - 5 AP and AVID. I am the sponsor for The French Club and The National French Honor Society.

My prior positions include producing and hosting a local special interest television show, being a product developer/buyer for the Walt Disney Company and being a buyer for May Co. department stores.

I have been married to my husband, Terry, since 1987 and I have two children. My son Taylor was born in 1990 and my daughter, Chelsea, was born in 1994.

I received the opportunity to become a teacher in 2002, when a French teacher had to leave, due to a family situation. Since that time, I have taken many classes (and tests) and found that I truly love teaching as much as I love learning.

I have always known that I enjoy learning and the learning environment, I now know that I enjoy sharing that joy with students.

Learning languages has opened the world to me. I would like to share that adventure. I hope that by learning a new language, students will realize the importance of gaining knowledge before making decisions or judgements.
