Background:

Upon graduating with my bachelor’s degree in 1995, I entered industry as an environmental chemist. I was able to gain practical experience in various laboratory techniques and broaden my knowledge of chemistry and related sciences. Seeking greater challenges, I began teaching at Colleyville Heritage High School. I am now beginning my 15th year at CHHS and looking forward to many new challenges and successes.
                 

Educational Philosophy:

I believe students obtain and retain material more comprehensively if the material is introduced in a hands-on manner. Students learn because they are able to manipulate and discover. I also feel that with my background as a chemist, I am able to provide real-life application to the material discussed in class.
