New students entering GCISD will register online through Infosnap.

Also prior to enrolling your student, you must prove residency within the GCISD attendance zone. Residency is the address at which a GCISD family currently physically resides, keeps its personal effects, receives mail, or maintains voter and driver registrations. Post Office boxes are not accepted. To verify residency, you must supply the following documents. These documents will be returned to you.
Falsification of any information or documents relative to this verification procedure may result in the withdrawal of the student.
- Parent/Guardian’s current Texas driver’s license
- Proof of Residency
- Current utility bill with physical address – post office boxes not accepted
- A property tax statement, executed lease or deed of sale
- Birth Certificate
- Vaccination Records – will be reviewed by the school nurse
- Your child’s Social Security card, if one has been obtained
For students living with other families: The student's parent, along with the person with whom the parent and student are living, must attend new student registration at the campus and complete either an Affidavit of Residency and/or a Special Power of Attorney. The person with whom they reside must provide the same residency verification documents as listed above.
To complete enrollment, you will need to present the following documents for your student:
Birth Certificate or another document suitable as proof of the student’s identity – Used to establish legal name, age, and guardianship of the student. This must be provided by the parent or another person within 30 days of enrollment. In addition:
— Guardianship or Custody Papers if applicable.
Social Security Number or state identification number
Immunization Records – Section 25.002 of the Texas Education Code requires that Texas students transferring from a private or public school to another Texas school provide current immunization records no later than 30 days after enrollment. Kindergartners and out-of-state students must provide a current immunization record upon enrollment.
Proof of Withdrawal From Previous School – Proof that your child is no longer enrolled in another school.
*Report Card: Acceptable if student completed school year at previous school.
*Withdrawal Form from Previous School: Used if the student is registering after school year has begun.
*Special Programs Information: Special Education, Academic Support, Gifted, -Advanced Placement, IEP, Bilingual, ESOL, etc.
*High School Only: Transcripts (or report cards if no transcript is available) and TAKS/TAAS scores if the previous school was in Texas.
