    National Teacher Appreciation Week

"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Henry Adams

This week, May 5-9, is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Almost all of us have memories of a teacher who influenced us and many of us wish we could have expressed our appreciation. Take a minute to help your student say "thanks" to his or her teacher. A short note or drawing by the student is often one of a teacher's most cherished reminders of why he or she became a teacher.

    calendar

Early voting for the May 10 Election ends tomorrow, May 6. GCISD Board of Trustees, Grapevine City Council and several other offices will be decided during this election. Locations for early voting include Colleyville City Hall, Grapevine Community Activities Center, Euless Public Library and Southlake Sub-courthouse.

Voting locations on Election Day, May 10, are dependent on the voter's precinct. Additional information is available at the link below or through the Tarrant County Elections office at http://www.tarrantcounty.com/eVote/site/default.as p

Election results will be posted first on the Tarrant County Elections website. The GCISD Administration building is not a polling site and will not be open on Election Day.
