Both Grapevine High and Colleyville Heritage High schools have advanced to bi-district playoffs in 5A and will play at Texas Stadium later this week.

Students at both high schools will have the opportunity to get low-cost immunizations on Dec. 5, provided by the Tarrant County Public Helath Department. The immunization clinics will be held at GHS from 8:30-11 a.m. and at CHHS from 1-3:30 p.m. In addition to state- required vaccines, they will also be offering the Meningococcal, HPV and Hepatitis A vaccines. Cost is $14 for one or $20 for two or more vaccines. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please contact the high school nurse so that paperwork can be sent home. Permission slips and payment for the vaccines must be received no later than Monday, Dec. 3.

GCISD's Diversity Advisory Council will have its first meeting of the year on Nov. 27, 6-7 p.m., and would like to invite interested parents, students and community members to submit their name for membership. The Council will be reviewing past activities and looking to the future.
