GCISD's childcare center open to community this summer for preschool enrichment
The Early Childhood Development Center is open to the community this summer and will host enrichment camps for children 3-5 years old. Beginning June 7th and ending August 1st, the summer enrichment camps will focus on developmentally appropriate themes and be offered on a weekly basis from 8-12 p.m. Extended care will be available to parents for the remainder of the day. Enrichment camps will not be provided during the week of June 30 -July 4.

Weekly themes are:

• June 9-13 - Cowboy Camp
• June 16-20 - Rainforest Discovery
• June 23-27 - Space Camp
• July 14-18 - Week of the Young Artist
• July 7-11 - Dinosaur Adventure
• July 21-25 - Zoo Critters
• July 28-Aug 1 - Olympic Games

Program Hours:

• Preschool Summer Camp - 8 am-12 p.m., $20 per day
  Extended Day - 6:30-8 a.m., 12 p.m.-6:30 p.m., additional $10 per day

The summer enrollment fee is $35. For more information contact the Early Childhood Development Center at 817-305-4890 or email childcarecenter@gcisd.net to request an enrollment packet. Enroll early as space is limited.

The Early Childhood Development Center is located at 5101 Heritage Avenue. During the school year, the center is open only to children whose parent or guardian is a GCISD employee.
