May 10 Election information

Election Day is May 10, 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. Election results will be posted first on the Tarrant County Elections website. Results are posted once all precincts have reported, typically at around 9 p.m. Results will be pulled from the Tarrant County Elections website and posted on the GCISD website, and a FastNews email with results will be sent to subscribers.

The GCISD Administration building is not a polling site and will not be open on Election Day.

The forum may also be viewed on channel 99 for Time Warner Cable subscribers and channel 40 for Verizon Cable television subscribers: May 8 & 9 - 11:30-1 p.m. and Friday, May 9 beginning at 4 p.m. at replaying throughout the weekend.

For GCISD's Board of Trustees Place 6, current trustee Vince Rosen is being challenged in the election by Leon Leal. Place 7 candidates are Mia Green and Jorge Rodriguez. Place 7 incumbent Freda Ward is not seeking re-election. Current trustee Jesse Rodríguez, Place 5, is unopposed for his seat on the Board. Candidates are elected to three year terms.
