Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) Reports
Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports which pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. These reports also provide extensive information on staff, finances, programs, and demographics for each school and district. Most information on this page is formated as an Adobe Acrobat document. TEA publishes the School Report Card for every campus. The SRC provides a small subset of the information available in the AEIS reports.

District and School Accountability Ratings - 2006-07
Information from the AEIS (above), is used to rate Texas public schools and school districts. The state accountability rating system evaluates the performance of schools and districts and includes campuses and districts rated under standard and alternative education accountability (AEA) procedures. For specifics on any campus' accountability rating, follow these steps:

Go to the State Accountability information on the Texas Education Agency website:
Select the most current year.
Select the “List of Ratings by District.”
In 1) Select “District Name.”
In 2) Type "Grapevine-Colleyville." (Do NOT type ISD after the name.)
In 3) Select “Continue.”

The list that appears shows the district rating as well as the rating of each school. The district name and the name of each school is a hot link to its data table. The data table shows the actual performance used to determine the rating.




United States Blue Ribbon Schools
Blue Ribbon Schools Program to honor those elementary and secondary schools in the United States that make significant progress in closing the achievement gap or whose students achieve at very high levels. The program recognizes and presents as models elementary and secondary schools that meet either of two assessment criteria.

Adequate Yearly Progress
All public school districts, campuses and the state are evaluated yearly for Adequate Yearly Progress as required under the federal accountability provisions in the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act. Districts, campuses and the state are evaluated on three indicators: Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics and one other indicator - either attendance or graduation rate.
