Attendance
Classes are held on at Bridges Accelerated Learning Center, 736 E. Northwest Hwy in Grapevine. Classes meet for maximum of 4 hours each evening. Students attending TARGET Evening Education classes will comply with the following attendance policy. During the session, students will be allowed a maximum of one absence. Three tardies equal one absence. Students arriving 20 minutes late or leaving 20 minutes early will be counted absent. The second absence will result in the student being dropped immediately from the course causing loss of credit and tuition. TARGET Evening Education maintains strict attendance records.
Class Times
Classes begin promptly at 4:30 pm. The ending time (no later than 8:30pm) varies with each student. The teachers work with students in such a way that students are allowed and encouraged to complete their assignments at an accelerated pace. Students are dismissed after they have successfully completed their assignments. Students MUST leave the campus upon dismissal. Students who are consistently picked up late (30 minutes after dismissal) will be dropped from the program with no refund.
Orientation
For each session, a mandatory orientaion is held the first day of each class (4:30 - 6:30pm)
Prior to Registration
If applicable, obtain a copy of the ARD's "modification sheet." Must accompany registration form.
Registration
Registration is from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday) prior to the beginning of each session (see registration dates listed above). The cost is $200.00 per class for GCISD students and $250.00 per class for out-of-district students, plus a $10.00 non-refundable registration fee (for both in and out-of-district students). A late fee of $15 will be assessed for registering or paying after the registration period. Checks, money orders, and cash are accepted at the Office of Continuing Education at 736 East Northwest Hwy; Grapevine, TX 76051.
Refunds
To receive an 80% refund, students must officially withdraw prior to the second-class meeting. A 100% refund will only be given if a class is cancelled by Continuing Education.
