- Varicella (chickenpox)--varicella vaccine, parent statement of student having had chickenpox, or serologic proof of immunity to chickenpox.
- Hepatitis B series (three immunizations in a series). Must have completed the series or be medically current on the incomplete series.
- Second Measles Booster--The MMR series is usually received as an infant after the 1st birthday. The Measles booster may be given any time (30 days) after initial immunization.
7th Graders
7th Graders must be up-to-date on their Td shot. They must have had one in the last 10 years.
Attention Parents of 8th grade students!
Class Schedules will be held if immunizations are not completed before entering 9th grade. According to GCISD policy, all 9th grade students must have a TD before entering high school.
Td (Tetanus-Diphtheria) booster within the past six years.
An updated immunization record may be turned in to the middle school nurse if received prior to May 25. In order to save your student time at registration, you may mail or drop off the immunization at the appropriate high school. |
