Education:

• I graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. degree in Education.  My major was English.  Go Raiders!
• I received my Media Specialist/Librarian degree from University of North Texas.

Experience:

• This is my 22nd year of teaching with 17 of those with Grapevine/Colleyville ISD.
•  I taught English in middle school for 18 years.  For 10 of those years I was also a coach.                                                                                                                   
• This is my fourth year as a librarian at Glenhope Elementary.

Family:

• I’m married to a great guy named Robert who teaches Physics and Chemistry at Carroll High School.
• I have one son, David, who is a junior and plays varsity soccer with Carroll High School.
• My second son, Zach, is an 8th grader at Cross Timbers Middle School. He will go to GHS.
• Zach’s my football player.
• I have a daughter, Hallie, in 2nd grade here at Glenhope  Elementary.
  She loves all animals.     We have a Sheltie named Maverick (named after a certain NBA basketball team of course) and 2 cats, Milo and Daisy.

Interesting facts about me: 

• I play indoor and outdoor soccer.  

• I’m a HUGE Cowboy Fan!
