At Grapevine Middle School we want are athletes to act responsibly, to put forth maximum effort, have great attitudes, and demonstrate good sportsmanship. This is what’s expected of all our athletes. In order for us to prevent discipline problems and to treat our athletes equally, we have formatted the following discipline policy
GMS Athletic Philosophy
Athletics, in our society, provides one of the finest ways in which our young people can develop into responsible men and women through a competitive sports program. Covering all areas of interest to the students and the community, the program should reinforce their need for a feeling of accomplishment. This philosophy is based on the belief that there is a need for a program which meets a variety of student’s interests, abilities and desires as well as physical development and fitness.
Athletic Program Goals
