| Daily news and announcements are delivered to students and faculty by the KHES News crew. Any fifth grader may apply to be on the KHES News crew simply by securing a KHES News Application from the librarian. The positions on the crew are: anchors, meteorologist, chef, technician, and camera/cue cards. Other HES students appear throughout the year on KHES as pledge leaders. KHES delivers the latest news, menu and weather daily. Additional Special Interest spots are included as time allows, and Mrs. Voigt, principal and/or Ms. Straub, assistant principal, often join the morning show, as well. The program begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and lasts approximately 10 minutes. KHES News is known for its excellence in broadcast journalism. |
