UPDATE

All sixth and seventh grade students at Heritage Middle School are enrolled in a language arts block.  The block class includes all components of reading, English and language.  Therefore, when checking your student’s grades for language arts class in Skyward, please be cognizant of the following:

• All language arts grades will be recorded in the reading section only of the Skyward grading program.  When looking in this section at your student’s grades, please be aware that a zero indicates missing work; whereas, an asterisk indicates that the grade has not been entered into Skyward.Grades in the reading section will be updated according to the district guidelines.
• The English averages will only be updated prior to progress reports and at the end of the six weeks grading period.
