    4th and 5th graders recently visited Rockledge Park with the Grapevine Parks & Rec department! In the outdoor classroom, we learned about fossilization, the Woodbine Formation in the Late Cretaceous Period in our area, dam engineering, flooding and how the watershed works. Thank you for partnering with us City of Grapevine.

  • Medal of Honor Recipient


    Medal of Honor recipient Staff Sergeant Leroy Petry visited Cannon students to share his experiences as a veteran and having a prosthetic hand. Additional guests included Military Concert Entertainer Jeff Vezain, Retired Marine Major William Mimiaga, and USAF Lt. Colonel ROTC Teacher Bob Marasco.
