Education: I attended Texas Tech University for 2 years. I graduated in 1994 from The University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in education.

 

Experience: I taught First Grade in H.E.B. for 11 years I also taught Second Grade here at Dove for 4 years. This will be my second year back in First Grade. I was named teacher of the year at my previous school in 2004-2005. 

 

Philosophy: The mission for my class is to instill responsibility, accountability, honesty, integrity and most of all the drive to be the best that we can be.  I want my class to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.

 

Hobbies & Interests:  I have two boys named Colton, age 15 & Jared, age 11 and a yellow lab named Simba.  I recently got married. I love to spend time with my family, cross stitch, walk, cook, camp, scrapbook and play Sodoku.
